Into the Twilight Haze
Why the Twilight saga hooked grandmothers and granddaughters alike, and what it says about connection.
Coaching with Dr. D.
Brief, solution-focused coaching for the decision, the conversation or the change you keep putting off. Often one session is enough. Not therapy.

The coworker you can’t stand, the boss you can’t read, the team that’s stopped talking. We find the real issue and the first conversation to have.
Talk it through →The old plan’s over and the new one isn’t written yet. We sort what you actually want from what you think you should want.
Talk it through →The same argument on repeat. The thing you never say. Better words for hard conversations with a partner, parent, friend or cofounder.
Talk it through →Nothing’s wrong, exactly. It just isn’t right. We name what’s missing and pick one move to make this month.

I’m Dr. Niloo Dardashti, and most people call me Dr. D. I hold a doctorate (PsyD) in Clinical Psychology from Long Island University and a bachelor’s degree from NYU, and I’ve worked in psychology for about 20 years.
As a coach, I’m brief, direct and solution-focused. I work with professionals, founders, leaders and teams, and with women at any stage of life, on the hard conversations, the transitions and the conflict that keep people stuck.
I’m also the author of Fifty Shades of Women’s Desires (2014) and Holistic Mental Health & Wellness (2014), and the director of the documentary Into the Twilight Haze. As an expert voice, I’ve been featured in 30+ media outlets, including Fox News, TIME, USA Today, CBS and The Cut.
How I work: short, focused and direct. We find what’s actually stuck and the next step, then you go take it.

Why the Twilight saga hooked grandmothers and granddaughters alike, and what it says about connection.

Is it me, or is it us? What our favorite love stories reveal about what we want.

Mind and body, together: a whole-person view of mental health and wellness.
Coaching, not therapy. I’m Dr. Niloo Dardashti (Dr. D), and I offer short-term, solution-focused coaching built around one goal and your next step at work or in life. It isn’t therapy, mental health treatment or crisis care, and it isn’t a substitute for them. In a crisis, call or text 988 or call 911.
One focused coaching session by video or phone. We pick the one thing that’s stuck, such as a decision you keep putting off, a difficult conversation or a conflict at work. We get clear on what’s really going on, and you leave with a concrete next step to take that week. Want more? Add a short run of sessions.
Anyone facing a hard conversation, workplace conflict, a decision they can’t make or a life transition. That includes professionals, founders, executives, leaders and teams, and women at any stage of life, whether or not work is the issue. It suits people who want a direct, practical outside view and one clear next step.
Both. Sessions are by video or phone, so you can join from anywhere. I’m based in New York City and coach people across the tri-state area and beyond, and company work can be on-site. Either way, the first step is to tell me what’s stuck through the form below.
Send a paragraph or two about what’s stuck through the form below, and I’ll get back to you to set up a time if I think I can help. Please don’t include health or medical details, just the situation and what you want to change.
A paragraph or two is plenty. I’ll get back to you to set up a time.
